Journal History

The first print issue was published in 1999 (ISSN 1575-5495). Since 2012, the journal has been published in open access electronic format. The journal has addressed very different issues concerning the diversity of nature and conservation issues.

The periodicity of the journal has changed from quarterly to six monthly since 2016 (No. 50).

Also until 2024 (issue 66), works were published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Since then (issue 67), they will be licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
